- Our fonts, images, and scripts are served from our own site, not from third-party services.
Information our hosting provider processes
Like any website, GardenSproutly is delivered by a hosting provider. To send you pages and protect the site from abuse, the provider processes standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, and the address of the page you requested, and may keep it for a limited time in server logs. We don't use this information to identify or profile visitors.
The planting calendar finder
The planting calendar finder runs in your browser. Your region, crop, and month choices are stored only in the page address (for example, ?region=central&crop=tomatoes) so you can bookmark or share a result. If you reload or share that address, it is requested like any other page.
If you email us
If you write to [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply and to act on your request, such as a correction. We don't sell or share it, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to the Extension publications and other sources we cite. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Children
GardenSproutly is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how information is handled, we will update this page and its effective date before those changes take effect.
